Jealousy is the feeling of deprivation which results due to the fact that the person who you hate has the thing which you desire the most. Jealousy is actually one of the things which motivate most of the people in the world to work hard. As a teenage I used to be jealous of people and I always wanted to get what the others wanted but then when I entered my 20s I realized that jealousy was actually hurting me rather than motivating me to work hard. Jealousy occupies the minds of the people to that extent that it becomes absolutely impossible to function and to do some this positive or pragmatic.
