IELTS Speaking Tip no.13: Speak Slowly
An average speaker speaks anywhere from 200 to 300 words in 2 minutes. You would not be required to speak a specific number of words, so please do not speak quickly. I have seen a lot of my students taking their score down just by speaking quickly and when a person speaks quickly many mistakes are made.
