Future simple continuous tense rules and application

 

Sentence: I eat food.

In the above sentence I is the subject, eat is the verb and food is the object.

1st form of verb: eat, 2nd form of verb: ate, 3rd form of verb: eaten

Note: You can use shall instead of will when the subject is I or We.

 

Positive sentence

(I, He, She, It, We, They, You) as a subject

Subject+ will + be+ 1st form of verb + ing + object

 

I will be eating food.

He will be eating food.

She will be eating food.

It will be eating food.

We will be eating food.

They will be eating food.

You will be eating food.

 

 

 

Negative sentence

(I, He, She, It, We, They, You) as a subject

Subject + will + not + 1st form of verb + ing + object

 

I will not be eating food.

He will not be eating food.

She will not be eating food.

It will not be eating food.

We will not be eating food.

They will not be eating food.

You will not be eating food.

 

 

 

Interrogative sentence

(I, He, She, It, We, They, You) as a subject

Will + subject + be + 1st form of verb + ing + object

 

Will I be eating food?

Will he be eating food?

Will she be eating food?

Will it be eating food?

Will we be eating food?

Will they be eating food?
