Your colleague loaned you a book to use in a presentation at work. Write to your friend to say

What the presentation was about

Why it was important

How the book helped you

Hi Harris,

Hi Harris,

I hope this letter finds you well. I really want to thank you for the book that you lent me for my presentation because it actually aided me throughout my preparation.

The presentation was yesterday, and without a doubt I aced it. It was about the economic crisis of the United States of America during 2006-07. The book you gave me had explained every aspect of that calamity in a simple, but detailed manner. It enlightens all the facts at so many different angles that one can have a genuine idea about what led to such a drastic collapse.

The way this book has illustrated the findings of Michael Burry is incredible. The work of Mark Baum during the crisis is also worth noticing. All of these details that are mentioned in this book were quite helpful in preparing an excellent presentation. Moreover, I did not have much idea about this economic collapse before reading this book, so I was really anxious about the presentation. Eventually, I would have ended up messing the whole thing, if I did not have that book. Although I would have found some good stuff on the internet regarding the economic disaster, nothing could have been better than what I read in this book.

So, I really thank you again for letting me borrow that book.

Yours Sincerely,

Abdul
