English Present simple tense rules and uses

The “Present simple tense” is used when we have to describe action which we do again and again or the action we do often. We also use English Present simple tense when we have to tell a daily routine. We can also use Present simple tense for the things which are general facts.

Daily routine: I go to school.

General facts:  I live in Lahore.

Repeated behavior:  I drink water every day.
